Well as the title suggests today is my 115th day of Compacting, to those who dont know, I have been "buying nothing new" since July last year. Well thats not strictly true as I've bought a folding bike, but it was supposed to be last years birthday present and I had half the money for it for my birthday this year. I had thought long and hard about buying it, and in the end thought that buying something new would be outweighed by the use it would get transporting me to work in the greenest way possible.
I have been buying everything else second-hand and have bids on some clothes on ebay as we speak.
The main benefit I have found from the Compact is saving money, I am well on target with my house-deposit fund!
Oh and the extra time I have from being kept out of the shops ;-)
